Well, the first quarter has flown right past us and as usual it has been busy times at Reactive. We continue to expand our team in all three offices and are rapidly outgrowing the office space in Melbourne. The London and Sydney teams are delivering some high profile work resulting in both offices firmly establishing themselves since their opening in August 2006. We had our first Reactive Annual Conference, a full day out of the office that has reinvigorated us, setting even more exciting goals for the coming year. Our London office has announced a partnership with Cedar Communications, a leading British customer publishing company, and Tim O’Neill has just returned to London from giving a keynote presentation on Web 2.0 for the tourism industry in Nice, France. More information on our Web site. This issue we share some of our thoughts and findings from our Reactive Blog, look at some of our recent work, introduce our new team members and check out the additions to our awards wall.

Here’s a snapshot into a couple of projects we have completed recently.
The Reactive team in Sydney battled a tight deadline to launch a fun and interactive new site for the renowned Byron Bay music festival. Check out the 'Flash Sound Toy' on the Home page, which gives visitors the unique chance to step into the shoes of a Music Producer and remix songs by some of the festivals’ headlining acts.
Our second redesign for HESTA Superannuation was recently released. Leveraging our long term relationship the Reactive and HESTA teams worked together to create a best practice super site. The new site is intuitive, user-friendly and provides a structure that can grow with HESTA's evolving needs. It also resulted in a technology upgrade for HESTA with the site now being content managed by cManager version 3.0. The site continues to provide fantastic features including interactive tools and calculators to engage users - and it looks super too (pun fully intended!).
And from the London office comes the redesign of the STA Travel Blogs Web site. Reactive redesigned the site to be more user-friendly and encourage participation amongst the community.

Reactive is extremely excited to have two sites nominated as finalists in the Annual Melbourne Advertising and Design Club Awards. The annual MADC Awards encourage participants to push their creative boundaries and rewards the most original entries that convey compelling and relevant ideas. Global Corporate Challenge and ROTHELOWMAN sites are nominated as finalists in the Best Consumer Site category.
Reactive is proud to have designed two of the winning Web sites awarded at the Hitwise Australian Online Performance Awards. These awards celebrate the number one Web site in each industry for 2006. This unique awards program recognises excellence in online performance through public popularity. BHP Billiton won best Web site in the Primary Industry and Resources category for Business and Finance Web sites, while the Metropolitan Ambulance Service won best Web site in the Paramedical and Ancillary category for Health and Medical Web sites.
Reactive has recently been appointed to the BBC New Media Approved Suppliers list. The list is the primary resource by which the BBC choose external suppliers for work. As new entrants to the UK industry, we're proud to have been given the 'thumbs up' from the British institution that is the BBC.
The recent redesign of the STA Travel Blogs Web site has already been recognised by these highly regarded online travel industry awards. The judges said, "The winner offered a complete service to travellers, using mobile, video and maps within the blog to encourage excellent community participation."

Earlier in 2006 we opened a London Office and we are now looking for a Project Manager/Producer to join our tight-knit London team. We provide a friendly, fun and creative working environment as well as the confidence of working with a well established business with a capacity to shape the job in line with your career goals.
